Change WordPress Admin Color Scheme Tutorial
WordPress lets you choose your own admin color scheme, changing the colors of the dashboard sidebar, toolbar, and buttons. In WordPress 7.0, the default color scheme is Modern. All other schemes remain available, and your choice applies only to your own account.
Currently, there are nine color schemes to choose from: Default, Blue, Coffee, Ectoplasm, Light, Midnight, Modern, Ocean, and Sunrise.
How to change your color scheme
The quickest way to change your color scheme is to log in to your profile.
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Users > Profile (or click your username in the top-right corner of the admin bar and select Edit Profile).

- At the top of the profile page, you will see the Admin Color Scheme section showing all available color options. Click the radio button next to the scheme you want.

Your admin interface will immediately refresh in the selected colors. Scroll down and click Update Profile to save the change permanently.
