How to edit a page

IMPORTANT! We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before March 4, 2026, and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

To edit a page in Website Builder and SiteGround Ecommerce, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Edit Website button in Site Admin.

  2. Open the Pages tab from the left menu toolbar. 
  3. Select a page from the General Pages or Store Templates section in the left menu.

  4. In the visual editor on the right, you can change the page content by adding, editing or removing sections and components.
  5. To edit the page’s URL, title, and status, hover over the page in the left menu, click on its Settings (kebab) menu, and select General.

  6. To change the SEO and social media sharing settings, click on the page’s Settings (kebab) menu and select SEO or Social.

How to edit a page (Classic builder)

To edit a page, go to the Pages tab and click on the page you want to edit. From there you can add, remove and edit sections.

To edit page settings, including the name, URL, and status, click the Settings (gear) button for the selected page in the Content tab.

Then you can edit page status, name, URL, SEO settings, and social media assets.
