How to Enable and Use the Wishlist Feature in Your SiteGround Ecommerce Store
The Wishlist feature allows your store visitors to save products they’re interested in and easily access them later through a dedicated Wishlist page.
This helps improve user engagement and makes it easier for customers to return and complete their purchases.
How to Enable the Wishlist
To enable the wishlist page:
- Go to your Site Admin > Settings
- Check the option “Allow users to add products to a Wishlist”
- Click Save
Once enabled, additional Wishlist-related options become available in the Builder and storefront.
How to Display the Wishlist Button on Product Pages
After enabling the Wishlist feature, you can control whether the Wishlist button appears on single product pages.
To show the wishlist button:
- Open the Website Builder
- Click on Pages and select the Single Product page
- Click Edit single product
- Enable the toggle “Display Wishlist Button”
When enabled, a heart-shaped button appears next to the Add to Cart button on the product page.
How Customers Use the Wishlist
Customers can click the heart icon on a product’s single page to add it to their Wishlist.
If a product has variations, the selected variation is saved so it can be added to the cart later without reselecting options.
Access the Wishlist Page
If the wishlist page is enabled, a heart icon appears in the header, next to the cart icon.
Clicking the heart icon opens the Wishlist page that displays all products the customer has added to their Wishlist.
Add Products to Cart from Wishlist
Each product in the Wishlist includes an Add to Cart button that allows customers to quickly move items from their Wishlist to the cart without navigating back to the product page.
