How to Change the Colors of Sections on a Page

We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before March 4th and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

To change a section’s color, first go to Site Admin > Website Builder, and press the Edit Website button.

Then go to the Pages tab, select the page you want to edit.

Click on the section you’d like to edit, then click the Edit Section button in the floating tool bar.

Then click the Design tab to access background options. Here you can choose a color from your existing color palette, set the background as an image, or select a custom color by clicking on the BackGround Color box.

Note: When you select a color from your palette, the text color updates automatically to maintain proper contrast and meet accessibility standards. You may change these default color combinations via Styles Tab > Colors

How to Change the Colors of Sections on a Page (Classic Builder)

To change the color of a section, from the Content tab, select the page and click on the section you want to change the color of.

You can change the color of the Section by selecting different options from your site Color Palette in the left column.

Note: The text color will also change to match the new color since you have predefined color combinations – text and background in order to ensure accessibility and other standards where color contrast is respected. You may change these default color combinations from Style Tab > Colors
