How to Assign Heading Tags (H1 to H6) to Titles and Text

We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before {date} and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

To structure your text for SEO purposes you can assign different heading tags to your text by using the standard HTML convention, conveniently in-built in your page editor.

  1. To assign headings, first go to Site Admin > Website Builder, and press the Edit Website button.

  1. Then navigate to the Pages tab and click on the page where you’d like to add the headings.

  1. Clicking on the text will reveal a styling menu at the top. From there, select the first dropdown on the left to choose different types of headings for your text.

How to Assign Heading Tags (H1 to H6) to Titles and Text (Classic Builder)

To assign headings, navigate to the Content tab and click on the page where you’d like to add the headings.

Clicking on the text will reveal a styling menu at the top. From there, select the first dropdown on the left to choose different types of headings for your text.

For SEO purposes, it is advised to have only one H1 title per page.
