How to Add a New Page to My Site

We currently have two builder versions: one for sites created before March 4th and another for sites created after this date. Sites still using the older builder will be automatically migrated to the newer version soon. If your site hasn’t been migrated yet, please refer to the Classic Builder section below.

This guide will show you how to add more pages to your online store or website built with SiteGround Ecommerce or Website Builder.

The following steps describe the process:

  1. Inside your website’s Site Admin, click the Edit Website button.

  2. Select the Pages tab.
  3. Press the + ADD NEW button.

  4. Select a template or start with a blank page.

    2. To select a template, first pick the preferred page category from the left menu and then choose the page template you would like to apply by clicking on the ADD PAGE button.

  5. Once you have added the page, you’ll see the Page Settings. In the GENERAL tab, from the Page Status dropdown, choose whether the page should be published immediately or saved as a draft. Note that after publishing a page and making it live, you can also unpublish it and return it to Draft. A pop-up notification will confirm each page status change.

  6. Give the page a name in the Page Name field.
  7. Set the page address in Page URL.
  8. Set the page’s SEO properties in the SEO tab.
  9. In the Social tab, define the page appearance when shared on social media.

  10. Start building the page content. For more information, read this tutorial on how to build pages.
  11. Click Update to save your changes. The page will be published or kept as a draft based on the Page Status you selected earlier.When you are ready to go live with the page, press the Update button.

How to Add a New Page to My Site (Classic Builder)

This guide will show you how to add more pages to your online store or website built with SiteGround Ecommerce or Website Builder.

The following steps describe the process:

  1. Inside your website’s Site Admin, click the Edit Website button.

  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. Press the New Page button.

  4. Select a template or start with a blank page.
    • To start from scratch, choose + Blank Page.

    • To select a template, pick the type of template from the Page Templates section, then choose the specific template with the Add button.

  5. From Page Status, choose whether the page should be published immediately or saved as a draft.
  6. Give the page a name in the Page Name field.
  7. Set the page address in Page URL.
  8. Set the page’s SEO properties in the SEO section.
  9. In the Social section, define the page appearance when shared on social media.
