How to Add Custom Fields to a WordPress Form

Once you’ve created a custom field, you’ll have the option to add it to your WordPress site via the SiteGround Lead Generation plugin.

  1. The first thing is to make sure you have the plugin installed and connected to your Email Marketing service.
  2. Then, from the WordPress dashboard, navigate to Email Marketing > Forms.
  3. Press the New Form button to create a new form, or edit an existing one by clicking on its name or its Actions menu > Edit.
  4. From the Form Fields section, press the Add Field button.

  5. Choose the custom field that you want to appear on your form from the dropdown menu under the Field column.
  6. Confirm the changes by pressing the Save button.
